Patrick King Northumberland Lambswool Tartan Scarf
Lambswool is considered the highest quality of sheep's wool on the market. Taken from a sheep at its first shearing, lambswool is incredibly soft, smooth, resilient and has superior elasticity. The unique weaving process generates air pockets that retain heat while preventing moisture. Along with being natural, breathable and hypoallergenic, our lambswool can be worn comfortably against the skin.
Measures approximately 12″ wide, scarf length at least 56″ long with a 3″ fringe on either end.
Northumberland
Northumberland Tartan was originally worn by shepherds tending their flocks within the Scottish borders. Textile historians have dated a fragment of the pattern, discovered in a bottle near Falkirk, to 270 A.D., suggesting that the pattern was known as far back as Roman times.
